Obverse description Central field dominated by a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged in three horizontal registers within a simple linear frame. The legend, executed in angular Kufic script with Naskh elements characteristic of Ilkhanid provincial coinage, proclaims the Shahada and royal titulature. The surrounding border consists of a repeating dotted or pellet inner circle framing the central die. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hammered silver production of the mid-14th century Fars provincial mint.
