Obverse description Central field dominated by a multi-line Arabic legend arranged within a pointed oval cartouche (mandorla), reading 'al-Sultan / la ilaha illa Allah / Muhammad rasul Allah / khallada mulkahu'. The cartouche is framed by a decorative wavy or foliate border, with an outer marginal legend running along the rim of the irregularly shaped flan. The overall design follows the Ilkhanid-derived epigraphic tradition, with bold raised Arabic script in a calligraphic Naskh style characteristic of mid-14th-century Persian coinage.
