Obverse description Bearded royal effigy of Vima Kadphises emerging bust-right from a jagged mountain summit, wearing a high-crowned tiara with upturned peak. The king carries a club over his shoulder, with the forefinger of his right hand prominently enlarged in a gesture of divine authority. He holds a trident in his right hand and an animal skin in his left, and leans against a humped bull (Nandi) standing to the right.
