Obverse description Crudely rendered crowned SA royal monogram of Sigismund Augustus occupying the central field, with the date divided on either side (15 to the left, 70 to the right). The design is a heavily distorted imitation of the official type, with the crown and letterforms poorly defined and irregular, characteristic of a contemporary counterfeit produced from an inferior die. No legible surrounding legend is present, the peripheral area being essentially blank or indistinct.
