| Obverse description | A detailed frontal view of the Faculty of Economics building in Skopje occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with a grand staircase, colonnaded entrance, flanking trees, and multi-storey wings on either side. The Cyrillic legend РЕПУБЛИКА МАКЕДОНИЈА arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 2 ДЕНАРИ appears in the lower field. Small decorative dot clusters flank the denomination on both sides. |

Issued to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the Faculty of Economics in Skopje, this gold strike was produced in extremely limited numbers as a commemorative rather than a circulation piece. The Faculty itself was founded in 1950 as part of the broader Yugoslav effort to build republican-level academic institutions, making Skopje's economics program one of the oldest in the region.
