Obverse description Large, irregular rectangular copper plate with five impressed circular stamps applied by hammer. A central stamp in the field bears the denomination legend '2 DALER Sölff:Mnt' arranged across the stamp's face. Four corner stamps, each carrying the royal legend of Queen Kristina, are applied one at each corner of the plate; the legend reads 'CHRISTINA·D:G:SVE:GOT:WAN:Q:REGINA' with a regnal date such as '1.6.51.' incorporated within each corner stamp. The overall field surface is rough and uneven, characteristic of the hammered plate money (plåtmynt) production technique employed at the Swedish state copper works during the mid-seventeenth century.
