Obverse description A large, irregularly square copper plate struck with five separate dies: one central stamp and four corner stamps. Each corner stamp bears a crowned royal cipher within a circular legend reading CAROLUS·XII·D:G:SVE:GOT:WAN:REX· followed by the date. The central stamp displays the denomination '2 DALER' above a pair of crossed arrows, the traditional symbol of the Swedish copper coinage, with the abbreviated legend 'Sölff:Mÿf' (Silvermynt) below. The plate surface shows characteristic hammered texture with flow lines and patination consistent with cast and struck copper plate money of the early 18th century.

(Translation: Carl XII, by the Grace of God, king of the Swedes, the Goths and the Wends. 2 Daler Silvercoin.)
Reverse description The reverse of this copper plate money is entirely blank and unadorned, as was standard practice for Swedish plåtmynt (plate money) of this period. The surface exhibits the natural texture of cast copper, with flow lines, minor surface irregularities, and areas of dark patination interspersed with green cuprite corrosion products, all characteristic of heavily used large-denomination plate coinage.
