Obverse description Fourth portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing a floral tiara, as modelled by Ian Rank-Broadley. The Queen's truncated bust is depicted with fine detail in hair and jewellery. The peripheral legend reads QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND, and the engraver's initials IRB appear on the truncation below the neck.

Reverse description The large numeral 2 dominates the central field, flanked symmetrically by two crossed palm fronds tied at the base with a ribbon. The denomination TWO CENTS appears in the lower exergue, while the legend EAST CARIBBEAN STATES and the date are inscribed along the upper periphery.
