| Reverse description | The large numeral 2 dominates the central field, rendered in bold relief and flanked on either side by a single upright wheat or laurel branch. The currency symbol Eº appears at the top of the field above the numeral, denoting the Escudo denomination. The inscription CENTESIMOS curves beneath the numeral, with the date of issue struck below it in the lower field. The mint mark So is positioned at the very bottom of the coin, just inside the decorative dashed inner border that mirrors the obverse. The design is simple and utilitarian, consistent with the standard circulation coinage of the Chilean Escudo series. |
