| Obverse description | Central device depicts the Vytis, the traditional Lithuanian national symbol: an armored knight on horseback facing right, raising a sword aloft, with shield motifs visible on the horse's flank and chest. The figure is rendered in relief against a lined exergual base. A ring of twelve five-pointed stars encircles the central design in the border, and the legend LIETUVA appears in raised Latin letters along the lower periphery. |
