| Obverse description | Central titanium field displaying the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, rendered with fine portrait detail including a diademed and elaborately coiffed hairstyle, set against a vivid blue-toned anodized titanium surface. The portrait occupies the majority of the inner disc, framed by a raised polished border. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs across the upper field, with the denomination 2 CEDIS continuing to the right, all in raised Latin capitals. The lower arc bears the inscription REPUBLIC OF GHANA, flanked at its centre by a small relief depiction of the Ghanaian coat of arms. A beaded border ring circumscribes the entire design. |

| Reverse description | The central anodized titanium disc presents overlapping portrait busts of Gottlieb Daimler, shown in left profile, and Carl Benz, shown facing three-quarters left, both rendered in fine relief with blue toning against an engraved background featuring schematic drawings of early automobile components and patent document imagery. The legend AUTOMOBILE PATENTSCHRIFT arcs across the upper portion of the inner field, evoking the historic 1886 automobile patent. The date 2018 appears in the lower centre of the disc. Along the lower arc of the border, in raised Latin capitals, runs the inscription GOTTLIEB DAIMLER & CARL BENZ. |
