| Reverse description | Cast iron cash coin reverse with a central square hole framed by a raised inner rim and flat field. Two Chinese characters in regular script are disposed in the upper and lower positions relative to the square hole: 漢 (Han, denoting the Hanyang mint) above and 四 (Si, 'four', indicating reign year 4, corresponding to 1211 CE) below. The field is largely plain, and the coin is bounded by a raised outer rim consistent with Southern Song period casting conventions. |
