| Reverse description | Plain reverse field with a central square hole surrounded by a raised inner rim and a raised outer rim at the coin's edge, consistent with standard Southern Song dynasty cash coinage. A crescent mark and a dot are visible in the reverse field, serving as identifying variety markers referenced in Hartill #17.168. The surface shows typical casting texture with a patina consistent with bronze alloy coinage of the period. The overall design is austere and unadorned, following the conventional reverse treatment for Song dynasty two-cash pieces. |
