Reverse description Plain field surrounding the central square perforation, with three Chinese ideograms in Regular script arranged in the outer field: the mint identifier 同 (Tong, for Tong'an Mint) placed above the square hole, and the two-character year notation 十五 (Shi Wu, meaning 'year fifteen') positioned below. The reverse field is otherwise unadorned, enclosed within a plain raised rim, and the surface exhibits the characteristic pitting and casting texture of Southern Song iron cash coinage.
