| Obverse description | Royal cypher of King Christian VII of Denmark, rendered as an interlaced 'C7' monogram in the centre of the field, surmounted by a small royal crown. The monogram is boldly struck in raised relief, typical of the crudely produced hammered copper coinage of Danish India. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show characteristic roughness of colonial cast or hammered copper coinage. |
