Reverse description Plain reverse field with a central square perforation surrounded by a raised inner rim and an outer rim. Two Chinese characters in regular script are positioned symmetrically flanking the square hole: 二 (Er, meaning 'two') to the left and 監 (Jian, denoting the mint or supervisorate) to the right. The characters are boldly cast and well-centered within the field, consistent with southern mint issues of the Chongzhen period.
