Obverse description Conjoined busts of King Rama VI (background, in profile facing left) and King Rama IX (foreground, in uniform with spectacles, facing left), both in military dress with epaulettes and decorations. Thai inscriptions in Thai script appear vertically on either side of the effigies, reading 'Rama VI' to the left and 'Rama IX' to the right. The composition is set within a raised rim, with the busts rendered in fine relief against an unadorned field.
