Obverse description Conjoined busts of King Rama V (Chulalongkorn) and King Rama IX (Bhumibol Adulyadej) facing right, with Rama V shown slightly behind and to the left and Rama IX in the foreground wearing spectacles. Royal cyphers in decorative frames flank the busts on either side of the field. The design commemorates the centennial link between the monarch who founded the office and the reigning king.
