Reverse description Central field features the denomination inscription TWO ANNAS / INDIA and the date in four horizontal lines, all enclosed within an elaborate high-relief wreath of scrolling acanthus foliage, floral sprays, and blossoms characteristic of the Indo-Victorian decorative style. A prominent multi-petalled flower occupies the lower centre beneath the date, while paired floral clusters fill the upper field. The entire design is contained within a beaded border, with the mint mark, when present, incorporated within the floral ornament.
