| Obverse description | Central field depicts a stylized jhar (the traditional Jaipur royal lamp or branch motif), rendered in a bold, somewhat crude hammered style characteristic of Jaipur princely coinage. The regnal year is inscribed in Devanagari script within the field, reading RY 21, corresponding to the 21st regal year of Maharaja Man Singh II. The irregular square flan exhibits slightly rounded corners with a plain, unfinished edge. Dot embellishments and additional decorative elements appear in the surrounding field, consistent with the artistic conventions of the Jaipur mint during the early twentieth century. |
