Obverse description At left, the four-barred coat of arms of Catalonia is flanked by an ear of wheat and a hammer, serving as allegorical references to agriculture and industry respectively, rendered in the illustrative style of Josep Obiols i Palau. The denomination 2`50 appears in the upper left, with the full bilingual text block occupying the central and lower registers. The note bears the issue date of 25 September 1936 and carries an obligatory circulation notice restricted to Catalonia.

Reverse description A vignette of an industrial landscape occupies the upper portion, with the silhouettes of factory buildings emitting smoke from their chimneys set against a backdrop of high-voltage electricity pylons, evoking the wartime industrial character of Catalonia. In the lower section, a reproduction of a sculpture by Josep Llimona i Bruguera (Barcelona, 1864–1934) is integrated into the design, referencing the work sited within the Montjuïc exhibition grounds. The series letter and denomination numeral 2`50 appear alongside the anti-counterfeiting warning text.
