| Obverse description | Letterpress typeset note printed in violet ink within a double-rule rectangular border incorporating fan-motif corner ornaments and horizontal line-pattern bands along the upper and lower edges. The municipal promise-to-pay text is set across the upper portion in bold gothic and roman typefaces, with the denomination 'DOS Pesetas Cincuenta Céntimos' in large display type at centre. Below the issue date of 1 February 1937 appear three handwritten signatures accompanied by their respective office titles: 'El Secto Intutor', 'El Depositario', and 'El Alcalde'. |
