| Obverse description | Right-facing diademed and draped bust of Queen Elizabeth II after the effigy by Ian Rank-Broadley, set within a recessed circular field bordered by a beaded inner ring. The engraver's initials IRB appear beneath the truncation. The surrounding annular legend in the raised outer band reads NIUE 2022 at the left, 2.50 Dollars across the top, and ELIZABETH II at the right, with the silver fineness and weight notation Ag .999 1oz inscribed at the base. |

| Reverse description | Five successive right-facing effigies of Queen Elizabeth II, representing her portraiture on coinage from 1953 through 2015, arranged in overlapping profile across the central field against a finely engraved globe-pattern background. Each portrait is individually dated below the truncation: 1953, 1968, 1985, 1998, and 2015 from right to left, progressing from youthful to mature likeness. A St. Edward's Crown surmounts the composition at the top, and a Tudor rose motif appears at the base.
