Reverse description Crowned Spanish-style quartered shield bearing the arms of Saxony, Jülich, Cleves, and Berg, with a central escutcheon of ducal Saxony (barry of ten or and sable with a crancelin), flanked by two upright palm fronds. The date and mintmaster's initials are divided by the shield on either side, while an oval cartouche below the shield bears the fractional value 2/3. The French motto legend POINT DE COURO - NNE SANS PEINE (No crown without toil) is inscribed around the periphery in two parts.
