| Obverse description | Letterpress-printed Notgeld on cream paper with a light blue-green guilloche border of stylised floral and leaf motifs enclosing a salmon-pink dotted underprint. The issuer's name 'Bezirks-Sparkassa Traunstein.' is set in bold type at the top, below which the denomination title 'Gut-Schein über ½ Dollar = 2,10 Gold-Mark.' is printed in large display type at centre. A three-line redemption clause and the place-date 'Traunstein, den 30. Oktober 1923' appear in the lower half, flanked by two manuscript signatures and a circular violet official stamp of the Bezirks-Sparkassa Traunstein; the printer's imprint reads 'Druck von Hs.
