| Reverse description | Printed entirely in red-orange on pale salmon paper, the reverse carries a large calligraphic Gothic blackletter denomination "Zwei Millionen Mark" occupying the central field. The note is enclosed within a dense geometric guilloche border of repeated rosette and daisy-wheel motifs. Flanking text panels to the left and right carry legal notices in small Gothic script: the left panel states the validity period of one month after the announced expiry date, while the right panel warns against counterfeiting and unauthorized reproduction under penalty of prosecution. |
