| Obverse description | Salmon-pink note with a decorative guilloche border composed of interlocking rosette and scroll ornaments at the corners and along all four sides. The denomination underprint "2 000 000" appears in large numerals behind the central text block, which carries the value in Gothic blackletter script as "Zwei Millionen Mark" above a two-line text stating payability at Reichsbahn cashiers within the jurisdiction of the issuing directorate. The date "Dresden, den 13. August 1923" is set centrally, with "REICHSBAHN DIREKTION" flanking an official circular eagle stamp, and two manuscript signatures below the roles "der Präsident" and "Eisenbahnhauptkasse"; series designation "Reihe A" appears at upper left. |
