| Obverse description | Printed in terracotta-orange on cream paper, the note is laid out in the style of a commercial cheque-voucher (Gutschein) within a decorative border of repeated floral and foliate ornaments. The heading 'Gutschein.' appears at upper centre, with a serial number box at upper right; the denomination 'Mark 2 000 000.—' is set in large bold letterpress at centre, with the amount in words '(Zwei Millionen Mark)' beneath. A diagonal black overprint reading 'Nur zur bargeldlosen Verrechnung' crosses the face from lower left to upper centre, and the issuer's name 'MANNESMANN-MULAG' with company subtitle appears vertically at left and in bold at lower right, accompanied by a manuscript authorisation signature; the imprint of printer A.
