| Obverse description | Printed in dark brown and black on cream paper, the obverse is framed by a geometric border of repeating triangular ornaments. A tan underprint vignette of a winged eagle motif and the Heilbronn city skyline silhouette occupies the central field, with scrolled ribbon banners extending horizontally across the note. The denomination 'Zwei Millionen Mark' is set in bold letterpress type at centre, above the redemption text, the issue date of 15 August 1923, and two manuscript signature lines for the Oberbürgermeister and Stadtpfleger at lower left and right respectively. |
