Reverse description A lion springing to the right in a vigorous leaping pose, its mane finely rendered and its tail curving upward, depicted in dynamic Hellenistic style occupying the central field. The Greek royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ appears above the lion along the upper field, while ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ is inscribed in the lower exergual area. Beneath the lion's body, a monogram flanked on either side by a kerykeion (herald's staff) to the left and a spearhead to the right serve as mint control symbols. The composition reflects the regal iconography established at the mint of Lysimacheia.
