| Obverse description | Crowned and draped bust of King Edward VII facing right, engraved by George William de Saulles whose initials appear at the base of the bust. The King is depicted wearing the Imperial State Crown and ermine-trimmed robes with the Order of the Garter sash visible at the truncation. The circumferential legend reads EDWARDVS VII DEI GRATIA REX IMPERATOR, separated by a small ornamental device, running along the raised rim. |

| Reverse description | Central shield bearing a passant lion rampant, the traditional heraldic arms of Cyprus, surmounted by an Imperial crown above a ribbon scroll inscribed CYPRUS. The date 1907 is divided on either side of the shield, with 19 to the left and 07 to the right, flanked by decorative dot groupings. The denomination legend EIGHTEEN PIASTRES curves along the lower portion of the design, completing the circumference of the reverse field. |
