| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a large crowned helmet or helm viewed from the front, rendered in a bold, somewhat crude hammered style characteristic of early Swedish emergency coinage. Flanking the helmet are two swords or similar armorial devices, one to each side, suggestive of martial iconography associated with the liberation struggle under Gustav Vasa. The flan is irregular and square-cut, consistent with klippe production, with the design often weakly struck at the margins.
