Reverse description Pegasus, the winged horse of Greek mythology, depicted in a prancing or flying pose facing left, with wings prominently spread and forelegs raised. The figure is rendered with characteristic Hellenistic naturalism, with fine detail in the musculature and wing feathers. The partial inscription ΨA appears in the field, representing a fragment of the city ethnic ΛΑΜΨΑΚΗΝΩΝ. The design is consistent with the well-known Lampsacene bronze coinage series attributed to the 4th–2nd centuries BC.
