| Obverse description | Armored and draped bust of Frederick William I, King of Prussia, facing right, adorned with a large curled periwig and wearing a laurel wreath. The king is depicted in royal regalia with ornate armor visible at the shoulder and a richly decorated mantle. The mint-master initials C·G appear at the base of the bust below the truncation. The circumferential legend reads FRID·WILH·REX·M·C·G, divided around the portrait, with the letters R·E·X arranged vertically to the right of the effigy. The coin is struck within a beaded inner border. |
