Obverse description Armored and crowned bust of Frederick II (Frederick the Great) facing right, wearing a royal crown and elaborate cuirass with ornamental pauldron, a sword hilt visible over the right shoulder. The effigy is rendered in a bold, high-relief baroque style characteristic of Seven Years' War emergency coinage. The circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, interrupted at the base by the truncation of the bust.
