| Obverse description | Draped bust of Frederick II (Frederick the Great) facing right, wearing a cuirass with decorative Order of the Black Eagle star at the truncation and a flowing wig with curled locks. The portrait is rendered in a bold, high-relief baroque style with fine detail on the armor and lace cravat. The mint mark 'S' appears at the lower truncation. The circular Latin legend reads FRIDERICVS BORVSSORVM REX around the periphery, partially visible along the upper and right fields, with 'S' concluding the inscription near the truncation. |
