Reverse description At the center of the field, a rectangular stamp encloses the denomination expressed on two lines. The upper line reads 4·0· denoting four ounces, and the lower line reads 18F· 40C· indicating the value of 18 francs and 40 centimes. The stamp is applied directly onto the silver planchet with a hand punch, consistent with the emergency coinage practice employed during the siege of Zara in 1813. The surrounding field is plain and unmarked.
