| Reverse description | A crowned double-headed Imperial eagle displayed, with wings spread, each head facing outward, bearing the Habsburg-Lorraine composite shield on its breast. The shield is quartered and features the arms of Austria, Hungary, Bohemia, and Burgundy, among others. The denomination XVII appears in the exergue beneath the eagle in Roman numerals. The date 1762 and the abbreviated titles ARCHID·AUST·DUX·BURG·CO·TYR· are distributed around the eagle in the circular legend, reading from the lower left continuing clockwise. A fine milled border frames the entire reverse design. |
