| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Holy Roman Emperor Francis I (Franz I) facing right, rendered in high relief in the baroque imperial tradition. The effigy is draped, with the emperor depicted in regal attire befitting his dual role as Holy Roman Emperor and ruler of the Habsburg lands. The circular legend, commencing at approximately 8 o'clock, reads in Latin the full titulature: FRANC D G R I S A / GE IER R LO B M H D, abbreviating Franciscus Dei Gratia Romanorum Imperator Semper Augustus, Germaniae, Ierosolymae Rex, Lotharingiae, Barri Magnus, Hetruriae Dux.
