Obverse description Facing laureate head of Apollo Aigletes, rendered in the three-quarter frontal style characteristic of Aegean island coinage of the Hellenistic period. The deity's features are finely modelled with a wreath of laurel encircling the head, the gaze directed slightly to the right. The broad, flat flan frames the head centrally within the field, with no visible legend or border.
