Reverse description Athena Nikephoros depicted standing facing, head turned to left, holding in her extended right hand a small Nike (Victory figure) and in her left a spear, with a round shield set upright on the ground beside her. The ethnic inscription ΤΕΜΝΙΤΩΝ or abbreviated civic legend Δ-H and T-A is divided across the field in Greek characters flanking the figure. The composition follows standard civic bronze iconography of Hellenistic Aiolis.
