| Obverse description | Head of Herakles facing right, clad in the lion skin headdress with the scalp knotted beneath the chin, rendered in the characteristic Macedonian style of the late fourth century BC. The lion's mane frames the face with pronounced relief detail. The type is enclosed within a beaded border. The coin exhibits an olive-green patina with areas of earthen deposits consistent with extended burial. |

| Reverse description | Macedonian helmet facing left, adorned with a crest and cheek guards, depicted in three-quarter view above a club and spear arranged diagonally in the lower field. The Greek royal legend BAΣI (abbreviated form of BAΣIΛEΩΣ, 'of the King') appears flanking the central device, with the letter B to the left and A to the right. The type is consistent with the posthumous Alexandrine bronze coinage struck at the Salamis mint under the authority of the Diadochi in the years immediately following Alexander's death. |
