Two national flags are displayed diagonally behind the shield to left and right. A scroll across the shield reads LIBERTAD I ORDEN. The peripheral legend, reading BOGOTA. PESO 25,8064.G. at upper left and right and LEI 0,900 at the base, denotes the mint, standard weight, and fineness of the regular gold issue this pattern was intended to represent.
