Obverse lettering 150 ANIVERSARIO ESTADO DE SONORA
Reverse description The reverse features the outline map of the state of Sonora in the upper field, overlapping the central coat of arms of Sonora, which is quartered with symbols of mining, agriculture, and cattle herding. The dates '1831' and '1981' flank the shield on either side. A laurel wreath frames the lower portion of the design, and a mint mark 'Mo' appears at the bottom center.
