| Obverse description | Central field features a traditional Nepalese royal tantric yantra design composed of interlocking geometric compartments arranged in a square mandala-like pattern, each cell containing elements of the royal name in Devanagari script. The name of King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev is distributed across the compartments, with a central medallion bearing the royal cypher. The Nepali date 2058 appears at the base of the design. The entire motif is framed by a beaded border running along the coin's rim. |
