| Obverse description | The arms of the Republic of Togo occupy the central field, depicting a heraldic shield charged with the monogram 'RT' and supported on either side by a rampant lion, with two national flags displayed above the shield and a scroll bearing the legend 'LIBERTÉ' at the top. The national name 'REPUBLIQUE TOGOLAISE' curves along the upper periphery, while the denomination '1500 FRANCS' is inscribed along the lower periphery. The entire design is surrounded by a beaded inner border. The coin is struck in highly polished proof finish. |
