| Obverse description | Central view of the Tengwang Pavilion (滕王阁), a celebrated Tang-dynasty landmark in Nanchang, rendered in fine architectural detail with multi-tiered rooflines rising above a walled platform and flanked by two smaller pavilions at lower left and right. Stylized clouds and birds in flight animate the mirror-polished field. The Chinese legend 中华人民共和国 arcs across the upper field, and the date 1992 appears in the lower exergue. Below the central structure, the inscription 滕王阁 identifies the depicted monument. |
