Reverse description The reverse features a magnificent large-format composition of the two principal Chinese mythological symbols: a sinuous five-clawed imperial dragon rendered in high sculptural relief occupies the lower half of the field, its scaled body coiling powerfully with claws extended; above and intertwined, a fenghuang (phoenix) is depicted in full flight with elaborate plumage, long tail feathers sweeping elegantly across the upper field. Both creatures are set against a deeply mirrored background evoking the yin-yang duality of heaven and earth. Decorative cloud scroll motifs flank the composition on both sides. The denomination 150元 appears in the central right field, with the fineness and weight inscription .999Ag 20oz in the lower exergue in Latin characters.
