Obverse description The Lion Capital of Ashoka, the national emblem of India, is depicted in high relief at the center of the obverse, showing three lions facing outward atop an abacus bearing the Dharma Chakra flanked by a bull and a horse. Beneath the emblem, the national motto 'सत्यमेव जयते' (Satyameva Jayate, meaning 'Truth Alone Triumphs') is inscribed in Devanagari script. The country name 'भारत' in Devanagari appears along the left rim and 'INDIA' in Latin along the right rim. The denomination '₹ 150' is prominently displayed in large numerals in the lower field.
