Reverse description The central device features the official emblem of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India: a shield bearing a balance scale superimposed over an open book, symbolising accountability and audit, surmounted by the Lion Capital of Ashoka with the motto 'सत्यमेव जयते'. The shield is flanked by two symmetrical laurel branches, forming a wreath. The commemorative legend 'COMPTROLLER & AUDITOR GENERAL OF INDIA' in Latin script arcs around the upper periphery, while the corresponding legend in Devanagari 'भारत के नियंत्रक एवं महालेखापरीक्षक' arcs along the lower periphery.
