| Obverse description | The State Emblem of India — the Lion Capital of Ashoka — is depicted centrally, featuring three lions atop an abacus adorned with a Dharmachakra (wheel), flanking animals, and a bell-shaped lotus base. The national motto in Devanagari script, सत्यमेव जयते (Satyameva Jayate, meaning 'Truth Alone Triumphs'), appears in the legend below the emblem. The country name is inscribed in Devanagari (भारत) along the left field and in Latin script (INDIA) along the right field. The denomination ₹150 is boldly rendered in large numerals in the lower field. |
